From May 13th to 16th 2019 the 9th edition of the Spring School will be held in Koper, Slovenia, entitled “IoT, economic and management challenges for e-health integration in the enlarged Europe”, organized UNITS Bio-engineering group - professor Agostino Accardo, director of higher studies in clinical engineering (SSIC) of UNITS, co-financed by the Central European Initiative.
This year's edition received the endorsement of the International Federation of Medical and Biomedical Engineering (IFMBE) and the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers (AIIC) and was included in the proESOF program.
This international event was born as an integral part of the CEI University Network in 2003 and over the years has become one of the most important events in the field of clinical engineering in Central Europe. The ninth edition will see professors and experts in the field of clinical engineering and students coming from CEI member countries, i.e. Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Northern Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia.
This year's edition includes four days of seminars on the various aspects of clinical engineering: from software certification as a medical tool, to quality standards in medicine and in the hospital information system, touching even the most merely organizational and managerial aspects , thus providing a 360-degree view of Central European hospitals.
