Trieste Mini Maker Faire "Genius Party" and Science Picnic "a day with Leonardo": three days of science and fun at Miramare waiting for ESOF2020

The new edition of the digital inventors faire was presented this morning in the Sala Tergeste of the Municipality. From 24 to 26 May the ICTP campus of Miramare opens its doors to all science and technology enthusiasts: the Maker Faire returns, with technological curiosities for all ages, accompanied by the Science Picnic which will offer shows, meetings and interactive workshops for students and teachers.

It starts on the morning of May 24 with the Science Picnic entitled "A Day with Leonardo": in the program meetings with scientists, experiments, educational workshops for schools. Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May will be the party of ingenuity: the Mini Maker Faire, fair of technological creativity and of makers. Hundreds of inventors who will come from Italy and from different European countries, in majority maker but also with some important realities of animation and scientific dissemination from Spain, Croatia and Slovenia, such as the Science Center of Ljubljana Hiša eksperimentov and the FabLab. Croatian Hr who is also the organizer of the newly formed Maker Faire Zagreb. Both events are free admission, have the patronage of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the University of Trieste and are co-organized by the International Center for Theoretical Physics "Abdus Salam" (ICTP) and the Municipality of Trieste, with the collaboration of proESOF.
