The first Festival of Psychology in Friuli Venezia Giulia organized by the association "Psicoattività" thanks to the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The idea is to develop in people a knowledge and sensitivity towards psychological issues to improve the quality of life of individuals, groups and the community. The Festival, under the scientific direction of Claudio Tonzar - psychologist, psychotherapist and lecturer at the University of Urbino - tells this approach thanks to scientific, cultural and artistic events, focused on the relationship between the figure of Leonardo da Vinci and psychology.
There are eight days of festivals, between 10 October and 10 November 2019 throughout the region, over 40 scholars involved and more than twenty artists from each discipline and all events are free admission. The first five days (10 October in Udine, 11 in Gorizia and Nova Gorica, 17 in Pordenone, 29 in Gradisca d'Isonzo, 31 in Palmanova) address issues such as the relationship between genius and disturbances; the relationships between psychology and art; reasoning and intuition; the relationship between architecture and psychology; the process of the aesthetic enjoyment of art. In Trieste, three days (8, 9 and 10 November, sponsored by proEsof) of in-depth symposia and performances aimed at the new fields of application of psychology are expected: psychology and work, psychology and justice, psychology and emergencies, psychology and well-being of individuals, psychology and sport.
Among the guests involved in scientific activities, Rino Rumiati, a scholar of decision-making processes and the mechanisms involved in the negotiations, are mentioned; Roberto Casati, philosopher and Research Director at the Center National de la Rechérche Scientifique at the Institut Nicod in Paris (engaged in the Kanizsa Lecture), Maurizio Ferraris who works in the fields of aesthetics and hermeneutics; Walter Gerbino, historian Dean of the Faculty of Psychology of Trieste and distinguished scholar of perceptive psychology.
